Mr. Álvaro J. Altamirano has been with the Firm since 1986 and has extensive experience in the field of Labor Law. He has represented the Firm’s clients in the negotiation and review of Collective Bargaining Agreements with labor unions, as well as in individual employee claims handled before the Federal and Local Conciliation and Arbitration Boards, Conciliation Centers, and Labor Courts.
During his two-year stay in the United States (1994–1995), he earned a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Comparative Law and worked at the law firm Harrigan, Ruff, Ryder & Sbardellati, where he acquired in-depth knowledge of U.S. law, particularly in the areas of Labor and Corporate Law.

Mr. Francisco J. Jiménez Jiménez joined the Firm in 2000 as a labor litigation attorney. He handles all types of employer–employee disputes, representing the business sector before the various labor authorities, including Federal and Local Conciliation Centers, Labor Courts, and the Secretaría del Trabajo y Previsión Social, in both individual and collective matters.
He also manages amparo proceedings before the District Courts, Collegiate Circuit Courts, and the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation, as well as motions for reconsideration, review, and complaint. In addition, he represents clients in proceedings related to fines imposed by labor authorities, handled before Administrative Litigation Courts and the Federal Court of Administrative Justice.

Mr. Axel Mota Rentería is an attorney and PhD candidate in Law at the Escuela Libre de Derecho, and holds a Master’s Degree from the University of Salamanca, Spain. He joined the Firm in 2014 as a labor law litigator, focusing his practice on employer–employee disputes and representing the business sector before both local and federal labor authorities.
Following the implementation of Mexico’s new labor justice system, Mr. Mota has expanded his professional practice to include proceedings before the newly created authorities, such as the Federal Center for Conciliation and Labor Registration, Local Conciliation Centers, Federal Courts for Individual and Collective Labor Matters, and State Labor Courts. los Tribunales Laborales estatales.
He currently concentrates his practice on federal labor disputes, managing cases from their initial stage through final resolution, including constitutional litigation (amparo) before Collegiate Circuit Courts. Mr. Farid Bautista Sánchez focuses his professional practice on the resolution of employer–employee disputes, providing legal representation to the business sector before various labor authorities, including Local and Federal Conciliation and Arbitration Boards, the Secretaría del Trabajo y Previsión Social, and the Procuraduría Federal de la Defensa del Trabajo. His experience covers both individual and collective labor disputes, including matters related to Social Security.
With the implementation of Mexico’s new labor justice system, Mr. Bautista has specialized in proceedings before Local and Federal Labor Courts, as well as before the corresponding Conciliation Centers. His involvement spans all stages of the process, from the mandatory conciliation phase through final judicial resolution.
He also advises companies in collective bargaining processes, actively participating in annual and biannual reviews of collective bargaining agreements, applying a strategic approach aimed at ensuring regulatory compliance and labor relations stability.

In 2017, Jesús Domínguez joined the firm as a legal intern in the consulting and labor inspections practice, an area he currently leads. Since then, his professional practice has expanded to encompass comprehensive labor advisory services for both domestic and international clients.
Jesús specializes in designing and implementing strategies that enable companies to adopt effective labor compliance policies within their workplaces. His responsibilities include conducting labor audits and assisting companies throughout prevention, remediation, and regularization processes related to improper labor practices.
In addition to labor compliance, he has extensive experience overseeing labor inspection procedures carried out by the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare, as well as handling administrative litigation before the Federal Court of Administrative Justice arising from such inspections.
